LOWVILLE — Lowville (14-0 overall) will take its undefeated record into the Section 3 Class C finals following its 5-0 win over Beaver River in a semifinal girls tennis match Tuesday.

Jamie Widrick didn't allow her opponent to win a game in her 6-0, 6-0 victory.

Beaver River finishes its season at 11-3.

BOYS SOCCER

WATERTOWN 3, INDIAN RIVER 0

Andrew VanNostrand scored one goal and assisted on another as the Cyclones claimed the Frontier League "A" Division semifinal victory at Watertown High School.

Matt Cleaver and Chris Waterbury also scored for top-seeded Watertown (10-6-1).

The No. 4 Warriors dropped to 6-9.

LOWVILLE 1, GENERAL BROWN 0

Christian Sterner scored on a pass from A. J. Capone with just under 13 minutes left in the game to lead the Red Raiders past the Lions in the "B" Division semifinals at Lowville.

Lowville (11-3-3), the No. 2 seed, plays No. 1 South Jefferson for the title at Carthage on Thursday night.

Zach Haenlin made 10 saves for Lowville. Jon Hall stopped 10 shots for General Brown (4-12-1).

BEAVER RIVER 2, SANDY CREEK 1

Bryan Monnat netted the game-winner late in the first half to propel the Beavers to the "C" Division semifinal win at Beaver Falls.

No. 2 seed Beaver River (4-10-2) plays No. 1 Thousand Islands at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Watertown for the title.

Brandon Deem assisted on the winning goal, and Deem scored from Monnat earlier in the first half.

THOUSAND ISLANDS 7, SOUTH LEWIS 0

Six Vikings scored in the second half en route to their "C" Division semifinal victory over the Falcons (0-16) in Clayton.

Mark Wolf scored the game-winning goal in the first half for Thousand Islands (9-6-2). Ethan Taylor contributed a goal and an assist in the second half.

COPENHAGEN 2, BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 0

Pat Snyder scored in the 23rd minute to lead the No. 1 seed Golden Knights to a "D" Division semifinal win over the No. 4 Panthers in Copenhagen.

Asa Stackel added an insurance goal in the second half for Copenhagen (13-3-1).

Belleville Henderson finishes at 7-9-2.

LYME 2, LAFARGEVILLE 0

Josh Lothrop scored off a pass from Corey Walker in the first half and the Indians advanced in the "D" Division playoffs by defeating the Red Knights in LaFargeville.

Seth Berry also scored for Lyme (13-3).

LaFargeville fell to 14-3.

GOUVERNEUR 2, NORWOOD-NORFOLK 0

Daniel Truax scored one goal and one assist to lead Gouverneur past Norwood-Norfolk (4-10-1, 2-9) in a Northern Athletic Conference Central Division game in Gouverneur. Matthew Weaver also scored for Gouverneur (5-10-2, 3-8-1).

LISBON 1, HEUVELTON 0

Reece Armstrong scored in the 22nd minute to give Lisbon a win over Chateaugay (4-10-2, 4-9) in a West Division game in Heuvelton. Zach Premo made 13 saves for the Golden Knights (10-6-1, 8-4-1).

EDWARDS-KNOX 2, HERMON-DEKALB 1

Seth Carr and Jon Davison scored goals to lead Edwards-Knox (12-5, 11-2) past Hermon-DeKalb in a West Division game in DeKalb Junction. Tyler Amo scored for the Demons (11-5-1, 9-3-1).

CLIFTON-FINE 5, MORRISTOWN 0

Tom McCormick supplied two goals and one assist to lead the Eagles past the Green Rockets (1-13, 1-12) in a West Division game in Morristown. Evan Popham, Riczi Kovacs and Robert White also scored for the Eagles (4-12-1, 4-9).

HARRISVILLE 1, HAMMOND 0

Server Mustafaev scored in the 32nd minute to lift the Pirates past the Red Devils(4-11, 4-9) in a West Division game in Harrisville. Tom Coloney made eight saves for Harrisville (12-4-1, 10-3).

ST. LAWRENCE 2, BRUSHTON-MOIRA 1

Shelby McGraw scored the game-winning goal in the 76th minute to lead St. Lawrence Central (15-1, 12-1) in an East Division game in Brushton.

Ashley Thayer also scored for the Larries, and Kelsey Manchester scored for Brushton-Moira (7-7-1, 6-6-1).

CLIFTON-FINE 4, MORRISTOWN 0

Emily Lachut supplied one goal and two assists to lead Clifton-Fine past Morristown (1-12-2, 1-10-2) in a West Division game at Star Lake. Hailey Swinyer, Katelyn McCormick and Katherin Donovan also scored for the Eagles (3-12, 3-10).

Jordyn Sullivan made eight saves for the Eagles.

HARRISVILLE 8, HAMMOND 0

Leah Malbeuf scored five goals and Patty Coloney came out of goal and scored two more as Harrisville beat Hammond (5-7-3, 5-6-2) in a West Division game in Hammond. Amy Paro also scored for the Pirates (14-0-3, 11-0-2).

EDWARDS-KNOX 3, HERMON-DEKALB 2 (OT)

Vanessa Bullock registered one goal and two assists to lead the Cougars (11-4-2, 8-3-2) to a tie with Hermon-DeKalb in a West Division game in Russell. Ashley Davison added two goals for the Cougars.

Michelle Watkins scored two goals for the Demons (6-10-2, 6-6-2) and Natasha Sayer also scored for the Demons.

POTSDAM 6, CANTON 1

Kaila Maguire scored three goals to lead Potsdam (16-1, 12-1) in a Central Division game in Potsdam. Cassie Grace scored twice and Ginette Cornett also scored for Potsdam. Paige Larue scored for Canton.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

FLYERS REMAIN UNBEATEN

The Flyers stayed undefeated in the NAC after defeating the Blue Devils and Huskies in Norwood. Jon Eng took first for Norwood-Norfolk (9-0). The Flyers had all five runners in the top 10. Malone (5-4) lost both matchups. OFA dropped to 6-3.

LUMBERJACKS WIN TWO

Michael Schram won the NAC race between the Lumberjacks, Red Raiders and Sandstoners at Clarkson University.

Tupper Lake (7-2) had four top-10 finishers and easily defeated Potsdam and Massena.

Corey Hosken paced Potsdam (2-7) and finished second overall.
