A former Watertown man was resentenced Friday in Jefferson County Court to one to three years in state prison after admitting he violated terms of probation.
Ronald M. Arndt,39, address unavailable, was sentenced in June 2007 to six months in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and five years' probation after pleading guilty in April 2007 to third-degree burglary.
He was accused of breaking into Barsco, 352 High St., in February 2007 and stealing radiators and radiator cores. His brother, Paul L. Arndt, then took the materials and sold them at a Syracuse recycling center.
According to court documents, Ronald Arndt violated probation by absconding from supervision by failing to report to his probation officer. The officer was told that Mr. Arndt had left Watertown and possibly the state.
His brother pleaded guilty in May 2007 to fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and was sentenced in August to five years' probation and ordered to pay $1,470 in restitution.

Shaun A. McCollom,27, of 25630 Branche Road, Pamelia, was resentenced to seven months in the PSB after admitting he violated his Bridge program contract.
He pleaded guilty in January 2007 to petit larceny after being accused of stealing and using a debit card belonging to his mother, Tommye H. Marzano. He was sentenced in June 2007 to a one-year conditional discharge and ordered to participate in Bridge, a substance abuse rehabilitation program that serves as an alternative to incarceration.
According to court documents, he violated his Bridge contract by driving to a meeting with the program's director after consuming alcohol.
Paul T. Converse,26, of 26989 Victory Lane, LeRay, was sentenced to three years' probation after pleading guilty May 16 to second-degree reckless endangerment. He was accused of hitting Jonathan A. Hubbard on the head with a beer bottle during a Nov. 22 altercation at a Factory Street nightclub.
John R. Blakeslee,25, Calcium, was sentenced to three years' probation for a May 12 guilty plea to second-degree reckless endangerment. He was accused of grabbing the steering wheel of a vehicle driven by his wife, Heather L., on Route 11 in the town of LeRay. The action caused the vehicle to swerve at about 55 mph and sideswipe a vehicle driven by William K. Whitney Jr., Fine.
Anthony Labar,27, address not confirmed, but formerly of Watertown, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal mischief and admitted violating probation. Sentencing was set for Aug. 20.
He was accused June 7 of smashing a window on a vehicle belonging to his former wife, Tracey A. Thompson, who also held an order of protection against him. In pleading guilty, he also admitted violating probation.
He was sentenced Feb. 4 to three years' probation for guilty pleas Nov. 2 and Jan. 4 to second-degree criminal contempt stemming from separate incidents. He was accused of pushing and shoving his wife during an Oct. 6 domestic incident in violation of an order of protection. He also was accused of calling her residence more than 40 times in November and e-mailing her from the Tompkins County Library while he was living in Lansing.
Barbara L. McCabe,56, of 10392 Grandjean Road, Henderson, pleaded guilty to felony driving while intoxicated and admitted violating probation. Sentencing was set for Sept. 2.
She was sentenced Nov. 16 to three years' probation after a Sept. 21 guilty plea to DWI as a misdemeanor. In that instance, she was accused of DWI in May 2007 on Route 11 in the town of Ellisburg.
On May 16, she was charged with felony DWI after her vehicle went off Lake Road in the town of Ellisburg and struck a utility pole, causing her to suffer a neck injury. She violated probation by being charged with the new crime.
