City hydrant flushing will resume on Sunday
SATURDAY, JULY 5, 2008

The city of Watertown Water Department will continue flushing fire hydrants Sunday.

Users may notice slight to moderate discoloration of water and should refrain from doing laundry during those times. The city's flushing schedule for the fifth week is:

Sunday:Fairbanks, Factory and Washington streets, Factory Square and Flower Avenue West.

Monday:Marble and Water streets, Greensview Drive, Oakland Avenue, Eastern Boulevard and Massey Street South.

Tuesday:Paddock, Water and Pearl streets, Sewall's Island and Massey Street South.

Wednesday:Pearl, Flower, Ten Eyck, Dimmick and Mullin streets, Main Street East and South Massey Street.

Thursday:Clinton, Sherman and Clover streets, South Massey Street, Starbuck Avenue and East Hoard Street.

Flushing continues on the following days:

July 13:Stone, Sherman, Mill and Haven streets, Park Place, Starbuck Avenue, South Massey Street, East Division Street and West Division Street.

July 14:Grant, Lincoln, Tilden, Hancock, Lillian, Pine and Portage streets, East Main Street, South Meadow Street and West Mullin Street.

July 15:Mill, Katherine, Seymour, Cross and Stone streets, South Orchard Street and South Meadow Street.

July 16:Arsenal, Court, Jackson, Mill, Stuart, Lansing, Cleveland, Francis and St. Mary streets.

July 17:Arsenal, Mundy, Lansing, Burlington and Addison streets, North Massey Street, North Orchard Street and North Meadow Street.
