CLAYTON — R. James Walts, 60, Rotterdam, formerly of Clayton, died June 30 at Glendale Nursing Home, Scotia, where he had been a patient for five days. He had been ill with cancer.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Clayton Cemetery.
