Man indicted on 37 counts
ST. LAWRENCE COURT: Fowler resident facing charges of having sex with 2 underage girls

CANTON — A 37-count indictment was handed up Tuesday against a Fowler man, charging him with having sex with two girls under age 15.

Marshall Clement,45, of 67 Popple Hill Road, was indicted by a St. Lawrence County grand jury on 13 counts of second-degree rape, 10 counts of first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child, eight counts of second-degree criminal sexual act, three counts of third-degree sex abuse and single counts each of second-degree attempted rape, first-degree sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

Clement is accused of having sexual relations with a 14-year-old girl from May to October 2006 and of molesting an 11-year-old girl while she was sleeping in December 2005. He also had sexual relations with the 11-year-old girl from May to October 2006.

The grand jury also returned indictments against the following people:

Christine M. Borasky,22, of 619 Albany Ave., Ogdensburg, was charged with two counts each endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person and willful violation of health laws and a single count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a vulnerable elderly person.

Ms. Borasky, a certified nurse's aide, is accused of pulling the hair and spraying foam into the mouth and eyes of Grace Bradley, 82, on Aug. 6 while Ms. Bradley was in the care of United Helpers Nursing Home, Ogdensburg.

She also fractured Ms. Bradley's right hand while squeezing it tightly on Aug. 17.

David R. Gladle,49, of 47 New St., Edwards, was charged with driving while intoxicated. He is accused of driving with a 0.15 percent blood alcohol content Dec. 8 on County Route 24 in the town of Edwards. Under state law, a BAC level of 0.08 percent or more constitutes intoxication.

Michael A. Chase,22, of 470 County Route 47, Potsdam, was charged with felony and aggravated DWI. He is accused of driving with a 0.20 BAC on Dec. 23 in the parking lot of Al Smith's Superette in the town of Norfolk. The threshold for aggravated DWI under state law is 0.18 percent BAC.
