Bush, GOP responsible for recession
SUNDAY, MAY 11, 2008

The American people have experienced diminished quality of life in various aspects since 2001 under the leadership of G.W. Bush, warranting dissension. It's deplorable to hear that the present administration denies any form of responsibility about ongoing meltdown within the country (recession).

The White House along with GOP membership initiated some controversial (partisan) economic agendas leading to the crisis engulfing the country while escalating the debt load (deficit) beyond logic. The illogical Iraq war is straining resources beyond redress.

People shouldn't be surprised Bush shrugs off accountability. Remember his absence from duty during the Vietnam War. The Republican Party bears responsibility for adhering to Bush's ideology which has undermined equality bestowed by Founding Fathers.

The Constitution has been circumvented to accommodate personal, political ideology which has been detrimental for any stability and solvency. It's no wonder more youth are involved in the present election process with a bleak future due to clear negligence and incompetence going unchecked. Change is warranted involving politicians or partisan politics.
