Meetings to explain plans for Black River watershed
SUNDAY, MAY 11, 2008

The Black River Watershed Planning Initiative partners will hold public meetings at 3 p.m. May 20 on the 11th floor of the Dulles State Office Building in Watertown, at 7 p.m. May 20 at the Lowville Fire Hall and at 6 p.m. May 21 at the town of Webb's offices, 183 Park Ave., Old Forge. Each meeting will last two hours.

This initiative will pull together the many plans and projects occurring in the watershed, such as the Black River Blueway Trail, Black River Scenic Byway, Army Corps of Engineers navigation study, Black River Watershed Management Plan, county farmland protection plans, public sewer and water infrastructure and other community-drive projects.
