■ MARTINSBURG — Gardner Road in the town of Martinsburg will be closed Monday and Tuesday for culvert replacements.

■ BLACK RIVER — The village Board of Trustees will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the municipal building, 107 Jefferson Place. The board expects to hire someone for the village Department of Public Works.

■ LOWVILLE — The Lowville Farmers Market opens for the season today. It will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Forest Park Pavilion at the Lewis County Fairgrounds on Bostwick Street. Free beverages will be served throughout the day in honor of the grand reopening.
