Police: man threatened 14-year-old with knife

WEST CARTHAGE — State police have charged Benjamin M. Wright, 20, of 11 Madison St., with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
He allegedly brandished a knife and threatened to cut the tongue out of a 14-year-old at undisclosed time and location. He was sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, Watertown, in lieu of $500 cash bail.
