A Clayton woman is offering a workshop June 12 on writing grant applications. It is designed to increase local nonprofit organizations' capacity to seek and receive grants.

"Grant Writing in the North Country: Mastering the Basics and Beyond" will be presented by Diane Leonard, president of DH Leonard Consulting.

It will be from 8:45 a.m. to noon in the Coachmen's Room at the Best Western Carriage House Inn in Watertown, with sign-in from 8 to 8:30 a.m. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis; prior registration is required.
