The North Country Support Group for Juvenile Diabetes will feature Lori Vashaw, owner of the Riverview Wellness Center, Oswego, at its next meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday at Flower Memorial Library on Washington Street.

Ms. Vashaw, who has a bachelor's degree in business administration, is a certified herbalist, reiki master and has received more than 600 hours in the field of clinical nutrition. She has extensive training and experience in assessing the body to find nutritional weaknesses and working to strengthen those weaknesses using whole food nutrition and herbs.

She tests for food intolerances and develops eating and lifestyle plans based on individual needs. Ms. Vashaw also specializes in natural hormone balancing, digestive issues, and helping restore energy and balance in one's body.

Children, parents, grandparents, caregivers and friends are welcome to attend the meeting, which offers an informal setting, and no advance registration is required. For more information, contact Judy George at 782-8105.
