BOSTON — No. 3 SUNY Canton upended No. 2 Vermont Tech in the opening round of the Sunrise Conference baseball tournament with an 11-3 triumph Wednesday.

The Kangaroos will play the winner of No. 1 Fisher College and No. 4 College of St. Joseph at 11 a.m. today.

SUNY Canton scored five runs in the third inning, and pitcher Anthony Brauchle struck out six over seven innings.

Dominic Creazzo went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs for the Kangaroos (7-10).
