William F. Dooley

HARRISVILLE — William Francis Dooley, 73, Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Harrisville, died April 28 at McGraw Center Hospice Facility, Jacksonville, under the care of his family.

He was a retired psychologist in Clay County, Fla.

Born Aug. 31, 1934, in Harrisville, son of Arthur and Mary Dooley, he received his bachelor's degree in psychology from Syracuse University and master's and specialist degrees from the University of Florida, Gainesville.

A marriage ended in divorce.

Mr. Dooley served for several years in the Coast Guard.

Surviving are a son, Christopher, Florida; four daughters, Kim Dooley-White, Kelley Dooley-Moore, Kathleen Dooley and Mary Dooley, all of Florida; a brother, Arthur Dooley, Florida; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life memorial service was at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, Orange Park, Fla. A reception was held following the service at the home of his daughter, Kathleen.
