Plante catapults Cavaliers
GIRLS LACROSSE: Goal in overtime gives IHC win vs. General Brown

DEXTER — Aimee Plante scored an unassisted goal with two minutes remaining in overtime to lift Immaculate Heart to an 8-7 Frontier League girls lacrosse victory over General Brown on Monday.

Angela Vespa tallied three goals, while Plante and Tara Gervera each finished with two. Elysa Doldo recorded one goal, one assist and nine ground balls for IHC (5-4 overall, 3-2 league).

Nichole Eamer scored three goals for the Lions (4-5, 1-4).

SOUTH JEFFERSON 18,

INDIAN RIVER 9

Alyssa Scordo notched three goals for the Spartans during a Frontier League victory at Philadelphia.

Six more players contributed two goals for South Jefferson (6-4, 2-3).

Kayleigh Pearson led the Warriors (2-7, 0-5) with two goals and two assists.

BOYS LACROSSE

CARTHAGE 19, GENERAL BROWN 2

Ben Koster scored six goals as the Comets blew out the Lions in a Frontier League crossover game at Carthage.

Robert Grimm scored five goals and tallied four assists, and Thomas Grimm added two goals and five assists for Carthage (12-1, 8-0).

Eric Munk recorded a pair of goals for General Brown (5-6, 3-5).

WATERTOWN 20, INDIAN RIVER 2

Brett McAuliffe buried eight goals to lead the Cyclones to victory at Philadelphia.

Travis McGraw added four goals and five assists, and Chad Gebo tacked on two goals and two assists for Watertown (10-2, 6-2.

Corey Brown led Indian River (1-10, 0-8) with two goals.

WHITESBORO 12,

SOUTH JEFFERSON 4

Ryan Paparella connected for three goals to help spark the Warriors (5-8) to a nonleague win over the visiting Spartans at Whitesboro.

Hunter VanHorn supplied two goals for South Jefferson (5-6).
