Agnes P. Rouselle

BRASHER FALLS — Agnes P. Rouselle, 88, of 32 Church St., died Sunday morning at Adirondack Medical Center, Saranac Lake, where she had been a patient since Thursday.

Mrs. Rouselle was a nurse's aide for 10 years at Highland Nursing Home, Massena, retiring in 1979.

Born May 11, 1919, in Louisville, daughter of Vernon and Elizabeth Locey LaShomb, she attended Louisville schools.

She married Kenneth D. Rouselle on April 13, 1940, at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Massena. He died Feb. 21, 1970.

She enjoyed fishing, bingo and ceramics.

Surviving are two sons and their wives, Vernon and Madeleine, Massena, and William and Bonnie, Childwold; a daughter, Marie LaPage, Northwood, N.H.; a sister and her husband, Wilma and Bruce Charity, Newmarket, N.H.; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

An infant son, Elwood, died in July 1940. A sister, Arlene Olson, also died before her.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. Donald J. Manfred officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Louisville.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena.

Donations may be made to St. Patrick's Church or Brasher Falls Rescue Squad.
