Lloyd and Paula Ramsey, Lubbock, Texas, announce the engagement of their stepdaughter and daughter, Rebecca Michelle Wolf, to Gary Alan Croniser II, son of Gary and Darlene Croniser, Lyons Falls.

Miss Wolf, daughter of the late Rev. George W. Wolf, graduated from Rubidoux (Calif.) High School and received a bachelor's degree in business administration in 2002 from Whittier (Calif.) College. She is education reporter for the Utica Observer-Dispatch.

Mr. Croniser graduated from South Lewis Central School, Turin, and in 2004 received a bachelor's degree in youth ministry from Nyack College. He is assistant pastor in charge of youth ministries at Lowville Baptist Church and also performs as a gospel illusionist.

An Aug. 8 wedding is planned for Boonville.
