HARRISVILLE — There will be no funeral or calling hours for Leona J. Lalonde, 79, of 294 Route 3, formerly of Fine. Burial will be at a later date in St. Michael's Cemetery, Fine.

She died Wednesday at Upstate Medical University, Syracuse. Arrangements are with Hawley Funeral Home, Star Lake.

She owned and operated Leona's Upholstery Shop in Fine for 18 years. She enjoyed crafts.

Born Nov. 5, 1928, in DeKalb, daughter of Leon and Mildred Washburn Manchester, she attended school in Edwards. She married Wilford R. Lalonde on Nov. 27, 1948, in the Ogdensburg Methodist parsonage. He died May 7, 2000.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael, Rhode Island, and John and Termelia, Lakeland, Fla.; a daughter and her husband, Sue and Larry Welling, Cranberry Lake; and a grandson.
