Mr. and Mrs. Frederick A. Washer, 212 St. Mary St., will observe their 45th wedding anniversary Sunday.

Mr. Washer, son of the late Francis and Ruth Irene Washer, married Gloria J. Prairie, daughter of Rita LaPoint, Curtis Apartments, and the late Howard Prairie, on May 4, 1963, at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church.

Honor attendants were Evelyn Titus, Brainardsville, and Robert Washer, Glen Park, brother of the bridegroom.

Mrs. Washer graduated from Chateaugay Central School in 1959 and from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1962. She is retired from the maternity department at Samaritan Medical Center and works part time as a teacher's aide at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Day Care.

Mr. Washer graduated from Immaculate Heart Academy in 1952 and served four years with the Air Force. He worked for 35 years at Watertown Builders Supply Co., retiring in 1996. He enjoys bowling.

They have three children, Mrs. Daniel (Corinne) Ryan, Whitesboro, Alan R. Washer, Queensbury, and Richard Washer, serving with the Navy at Portsmouth, Va., as a machine accountant first class. They also have eight grandchildren.
