MORRISTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. LaClair Sr., Morristown, celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary with a family dinner Sunday.
Mr. LaClair, son of the late Allan and Doris LaClair, and Virginia Barnhart, daughter of the late Frederick and Mary Barnhart, were married April 20, 1957, at First Baptist Church, Canton, with the Rev. Seldon Ward officiating.
Honor attendants were Elaine Swan, Philadelphia, Pa., sister of the bride, and David Woodside, Nassau.
Mr. LaClair retired in 1996 from ACCO International after becoming manufacturing vice president. During his ACCO tenure, he was responsible for the Ogdensburg manufacturing operation and had additional plant responsibilities in Nogales, Mexico, and Hinsdale, Ill.
Mrs. LaClair is a homemaker and has enjoyed downhill skiing. She enjoys tennis, bowling, reading and playing cards.
Mr. and Mrs. LaClair enjoy snowmobiling, golfing and traveling throughout the year.
The couple has three sons, Robert A. Jr., Moira, Michael, Morristown, and Dr. Scott, Watertown, a daughter, Debra, Lisbon, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
